TWC benefits from Scouting for Food 2012 Food drive
LincolnWay community Boy Scout Troops 10 and 237, Cub Scout Packs 101 and 237, Venture Crew 237 and Girl Scout organizations participated recently in the national 2012 Scouting for Food drive. This is a national “Good Turn for America” event where our Scouting organizations give back to their community.
The Scouts visited homes in their school districts the morning of Sunday Nov. 11 and collected donations. These items were collected and sorted at LincolnWay North High School and were then delivered to the Frankfort Township Food Pantry and Tinley Park Together We Cope Food Pantry.
