Bridging the Gap
Located on Oak Park Avenue in downtown Tinley Park, Together We Cope is “bridging the gap” for Southland residents in temporary crisis by providing food, shelter, clothing and referrals, empowering them to return to self-sufficiency. 
    
Our clients are a diverse group of individuals, coming from many different areas and economic backgrounds. Our caring staff gives assistance to anyone in need who steps through our doors. We serve people from 22 south suburban communities in Bremen, Orland, Palos and Worth townships.
     Our food pantry makes sure that no client goes hungry, while our resale shop offers gently used items at reasonable prices. Financial assistance is available for rent, mortgage and utility bill payments. Many clients benefit from referrals for housing, education, medical needs or employment counseling.

The Race Around The World Duathlon was started in 2001 with the goal of becoming the largest multisport event in the south suburbs. With the help of numerous volunteers, the race committee has accomplished this goal and continues to produce a great race for the community.
